Freshman year has just ended, the summer has just begun... and without furthur ado i'm cutting friends.
don't take it personally i just don't have time anymore to read/catch up on 50+ kids.
If you want to be saved I guess say something but I pretty much already have my mind set on whose staying.

babson's stats [just to get me psyched up even more...]
#1 undergraduate program in the U.S. for Entrepreneurship.
#29 for best buisness program [tied with Georgetown, WakeForest, Texas A&M and Georgia U. It is the ONLY small buisness college, not part of a larger university, in this category.
#22 for international buisness.
i've been reading all these message boards at collegeconfidential.com and it says that babson is full of preppy, east coast private school kids...which a lot of people think is bad.
i'm so happy though!!!!!!

things i have recently been obsessed with:
1. kanye west's work out song.
2. hanson's mmmbop
3. Natural Berry Propel water
4. plans for my room at babson.
5. saturday and going to babson.
6. songs that i listen to on my way home from somewhere that make me bawl. i come home and my mom is like: what the fuck. why are you crying so hard? and i can't answer her. i think its like a cleansing thing before i go to school. who knows.
7. striped oxfords. esp. those from jcrew.
8. my mom. i'm going to miss her so much. i'm starting to cry right now thinking about it. i'm such a dork.
9. sweedish fish
10. my friends up here. especially emily. i'm going to miss her a lot too. you wouldn't be able to find a more nicer, sweeter person.
11. thongs. or more like my fear of them. i'm such a fucking prude.
12. the piano. gavin degraw's dancin' shoes is one of THE most beautiful songs i've ever heard.
13. going to bed too late.
my social life has kind of tapered off this past week or two. i'm hanging out ALOT with my mom and emily. and that's okay. i mean its great. this summer hasn't been the greatest but it was fine.
i'm so excited for college now. seeing my dorm room made it more REAL and thank GOD i wasn't that nervous.
i was going to tell you an embbarrassing story about my seethru seersucker pants and writing on my butt but i'm too add right now.

hanson rocked so hard they broke things.
and today i'm going to babson to check out my dorm room.
i'm so nervous i feel like i'm going to throw up.
saturday is going to be nerve-racking.
i'm going to wear my j.crew seersucker pants with a white lilly polo w. a light green palm and ribbon flipflops
so its like : i made an effort but not TOO Much of an effort kind of. right?

today i downloaded so much rap and punk covers of britney spears, beach boys and n*sync...it was ridiculous.
for her birthday, i made my mom an empty nester survival kit which consisted of:
1. a small pink tote with her monogram to hold everything
2. a bright plastic make up bag for her purse
3. a scarf [for whens he vists me in boston]
4. a pink&green bracleet [so she never forgets my favorite colors]
5. a book about stress - relief [because she's so highstrung]
6. a book called "keeping the faith" [because we're Church buddies]
7. a monogram silver ring with the letter A for her first initial [i got the same one for me with an R]
8. a Bush 2004 sticker [and a list of reasons why we hate john kerry]
9. a cool mom book [for brownie points]
10. a wicked nice collage about/of the 2 of us that i've been working on for a while
i hope she'll buy me those seven jeans now...
i'm going to HANSON tommorrow.
be jealous.
that also means STARBUCKS tommorrow

Today was the last day of kbia.
forever.
kbia is my day camp.
and today were awards. it was cold and wet and rainy and i left fast so it didnt' feel like anything.
i'm all done with in the pink thank God.
i'm going shopping on monday in boston, then going up to babson to see my room and make sure i get verizon service.
its weird, i'm enjoying hanging out with my mom.
i think we're both starting to get sad that we have a week left.
and then.
i disappear.
emmy's going to visit me during labor day weekend. i'm so excited. we're going to tear boston apart.
i think i have a family of mutant crickets living in my room.
last night when i went up stairs to bed i heard the most bizarre sounds coming from the window above my bed [i know. bad feng shui] and i was like: alright. whatever.
but then i got up to go pee and i came back and these MASSIVE crickets were on my bed. i shrieked and then spent the night in our tiny guest room on a bed made for midgets.
okay enough of my ADDspastic entry.

i want these jeans so bad
besides taht i feel really really ill.
like spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally <i>ill</i>
i have been treating every single aspect of myself like shit lately.
tongiht at work i started having hot flashes and stomach aches and i just felt so ALONE and scared and sad about so many things.
it was like a wave of suckiness came over me.
i just need a day to all by myself to go to the beach in the morning to look out at the water. i used to do that for hours. i havent' done it once this summer.
and to go for a long walk. and to think. and to come home and eat healithy. and sort things out for myself.
i honestly don't think i've been in worse shape [in eveyr aspect of my life]in a very long time.
i have a lot to do before the 28th.
i think this might be my last journal entry till school.
i don't think being on the computer as much is healthy.

rebecca's proper concert conduct instruction manual
1. do not wear any merchandise of the band you are seeing.
exception: N*SYNC, britney, etc. concerts it is totally appropriate.
Gavin degraw, guster, etc? not appropriate.
2. do not heckle the opening acts. they've worked hard to get this far. they're there to make YOU happy. don't insult them, start chanting for the main act to come on.
3. be polite when you are shoving your way through the crowd. "excuse me"s are appreciated. also, don't NOT let people through, go with the flow. we're all there to have a good time after all.
4. I'm all for pre-gaming, but don't act like an obnoxious drunk. please.
5. When the performer glances over at you do not shriek and/or go absolutley CRAZY. Rather, try and hold his stare for as long as possible [ie. eye sex]
6. do not try and pursuade the people around you that you are that performer's biggest fan. Especially if you are in the front row. Chances are they're pretty die-hard too.
7. Don't be an ass. Lighten up.
8. If you have a curfew and/or a parent of yours/your friend's is picking you up [ie you're a youngster] please do not scream profanities at the performer.
9. Posters? those also belong at an N*SYNC concert. Especially if they obscure others' view.
I'm going to keep adding to that list.
